High Line offers a series of both Educational and Product Seminars to our clients. Educational Seminars run for a maximum of 2.5 hours; Product Seminars are scheduled for one hour (there is no charge for Product Seminars). The format: an online session with High Line using a PC connection and a telephone conference call. Each registered participant receives a copy of the training material and complete instructions on how and when to connect to the session.

Year End Procedures This Education Seminar includes both an explanation and hands-on demonstration of your preparation for the upcoming year. Calendar updates, W2 Forms (or T4's), Summary Reports and Reporting Media will all be reviewed. Clients completing their first year-end on the product, in particular, will find this course invaluable, and it's a great brush-up for our long-term clients.
PA Processing - Advanced Personnel Actions cut down on errors, allow organizational approvals to be applied to employee changes, and can reduce both paper shuffling and training time. Attend this Education Seminar for a review of PA's (Personnel Actions) processing and "How To Make Your PAs Fly!" How to's include: creating new assignment records, sequencing and restricting fields for the end users' view, processing terminations, and creating approval levels for these changes.
Discoverer - Basic This Education Seminar, for new users to Discoverer, focuses on the User Edition and will touch on a few Administrative topics. Discoverer is High Line's recommended End User Reporting tool - an intuitive, easy-to-use ad-hoc querying and reporting system. Need to know how many employees are retiring next year? Compared to the year after? How about which employees have a birthday this month? These are simple examples, but the possibilities are almost endless, and this course will get you on your way!
Transaction Processing High Line provides highly flexible options to create time, earnings and deduction transactions for your employees. This Education Seminar includes a review of the different ways that pay transactions can be created. Transaction generating, loading, and keying, as well as the update processes available, are all included. The agenda will also cover semi-monthly and monthly pays, work calendars and work rules.
