Implementation Specialist

Location: Markham, ON

Job Function:
Work with clients and Senior Consultants to install and configure High Line Corporation’s Payroll, Human Resource and Time Management application.
Assist in the implementation of the client’s rules and policies on the application.
Test the application and provide documentation of client-specific requirements.
Train client personnel on the use of the application.
Maintain appropriate documentation of implementation activities to management and other team members.

Prerequisites:
Prior experience in software implementation or Human Resource/Payroll desirable.

Work Environment:
Excellent communication skills and experience in small group training.
Experience and competency with standard PC applications.
Ability to work independently; a self-starter with a desire to learn.
Good probing skills and the ability to understand the needs and concerns of the user.

Work Eligibility:
Travel is a significant component of the position and applicants MUST have the willingness and ability to travel frequently within North America.

Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position and qualifies for High Line’s standard benefit plan.
Starting salary is dependent on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Language:
Must Speak English – fluent in both spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Excellent communication skills are required both verbal and written.
French is an asset but not a requirement.

Problem Solving:
Ability to identify information required to resolve client issues, and to use related pieces of information to draw conclusions and solve problems
Strong analytical skills.

Experience:
MS Office – Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Demand:
Frequent Travel – Must be willing and able to frequently travel to client sites throughout Canada and United States.

Other:
Teaching – Must be able to train clients (at customer sites and remotely) in a classroom type setting.
